Description

Rarely does such a compelling role come available for an accomplished real estate professional. Reporting directly to the Board, the Chief Executive Officer has overall responsibility for the general management, future planning, as well as growth and development of all companies under Montrose Property Holdings. The CEO leads a group of motivated individuals to ensure the vision and mission of the company is sustained and long-term profitability is maximized. The CEO will create an organizational environment that promotes innovation and enhances Montrose’s business model to ensure sustainability for generations to come.

The ideal candidate will bring exceptional leadership and a dynamic interpersonal style combined with sound knowledge of the real estate development sector. The CEO will be a collaborative, entrepreneurial and humble leader with experience working closely with a Board of Directors, ensuring team members are engaged and focused on common goals. Superior interpersonal, relationship building and strategic planning skills and a successful track record of industrial/commercial development projects will be key. In addition, the CEO will be experienced in working within a diverse stakeholder environment and building strong and lasting relationships and must exemplify the highest standards of honesty, integrity and ethics.

Montrose Property Holdings was created in late 2014 as a result of a spin-off of the waste management business, Ecowaste, from its former parent Graymont Limited. Since that time, the Company has carried on two distinct businesses. The first is the legacy waste management business which owns one of the largest private construction and demolition landfill sites in the lower mainland of British Columbia. The second is a newly formed industrial real estate development business that is currently focused on the redevelopment of the completed landfill into a logistics warehouse park.

Both businesses stem from Montrose’s ownership of 477 acres of land located in Richmond, British Columbia. Of the total acreage, 319 acres are used for the landfill of which the logistics warehouse park will comprise 169 acres. The remaining 158 acres of the total land holdings are currently being held for future use.
