We are looking for an experienced Director of Portfolio Reporting to lead and oversee our portfolio reporting function. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the team responsible for reporting materials used by senior management, the board of directors and investors to evaluate performance and operational trends.


Responsibilities: 

  • Leads and manages the team responsible for portfolio investor reporting in strategic planning, staffing and staff development, processes, procedures and internal controls for the reporting of asset and portfolio level results, including company leasing activity.
  • Oversees the preparation, aggregation and reporting of portfolio and asset level performance and other supplemental real estate metrics. Includes the integration of new acquisitions and development projects.
  • Ensures compliance with company reporting policies and standards. Continually evaluates performance, policies and procedures for improvements and efficiencies by periodically assessing reporting conventions relative to public peer companies and evolving business drivers.
  • Collaborates with leaders of multiple departments and senior management to coordinate and plan for the timely and accurate delivery of monthly and quarterly portfolio results.
  • Partners with other departments to provide portfolio and financial information to internal stakeholders and reviews company materials and publications for accuracy and consistency.
  • Manages the preparation of additional portfolio and ad hoc reporting, as requested by internal and external stakeholders, including sponsor reporting teams, senior management, board of directors, lenders and investors.

Skills/Experience:

  • 10+ years of progressive proven leadership and excellent organizational skills with high standards for accuracy and execution required.
  • Accounting, finance, asset management or FP&A experience in commercial real estate required; public REIT experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, or business administration required; MBA, CFA, or CPA strongly preferred.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required; experience with SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (SAP BPC) or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with multiple active deadlines and able to adapt to and proactively communicate changing priorities.
  • Ability to clearly convey technical information orally and in written correspondence, reports and presentations.
  • Organized and thoughtful with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product.
