Central Houston's vision is to continuously facilitate a stronger, more vibrant downtown. The organization, a 501(c)(6) private, non-profit corporation, is supported by memberships of businesses and institutions with the same vision. With a goal to foster a thriving hub of commerce, culture and living for the central city, Central Houston's long-term mission: 1) Leading the development of downtown and the central city as a world-class urban place, 2) Driving economic development and employer attraction, 3) Maintaining and enhancing regional access and connectivity at all levels, and 4) Sustaining a governance and organizational capability for downtown and the central city.
