The Senior Real Estate Accountant supports the CFO, completing financials for various needs of the Accounting department. Responsibilities range from communicating with investors to performing audits as well as writing checks for payments to various entities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Property report consolidation
- Property P&L reports
- Performs audits on property financials to prepare for investor reporting.
- Issues checks to various agencies and entitie
Supervision Received
Will work independently and unsupervised. Support from supervisor available when needed.

- Solid communication skills and ability to effectively communicate to senior management.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager Software

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree and at least three years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the multifamily sector.
Language Skills
Ability to create and write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills
Advanced abilities in mathematical concepts and practices.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
