What it's about
In this position, you will be part of the private real estate team and contribute to private real estate acquisitions, with a particular focus on direct and secondary real estate investments.
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective real estate investments
- Write investment recommendations for presentation to investment committee
- Perform various tasks related to investment monitoring, product reporting and market research
- Coordination of transaction documentation and execution (in conjunction with internal and external legal counsel)
- Coordinate with senior professionals to underwrite and execute direct and secondary transactions in the Americas
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university with coursework emphasis on Business Administration, Accounting, Real Estate, Finance and/or Economics
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience at an Investment Bank, private investment firm, REIT or Private Equity firm
- Excellent quantitative skills: preferably with experience building real estate valuation models and distribution waterfalls
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel: ARGUS experience is a plus
- Interpersonal skills with strong work ethic and desire to learn and succeed
- Strong oral and written communication skills
