The Multifamily Asset Management Analyst will primarily support the Asset Management team in maximizing the value of assets through oversight, streamlining processes and analyzing property performance. You will become an integral part of a team and have the opportunity to assume significant responsibility that may include:

  • Assist in the oversight of business plans, budgets, forecasts, analysis and reporting
  • Conduct financial analysis for financial targets to execute the business plan for each asset
  • Communicate and follow-up on expectations with acquisition team, construction team, property management team, accounting team in the execution/implementation of the business plan each asset
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to track the performance of and help support decision making for each asset
  • Conduct financial analysis for refinancing and sale opportunities
  • Interface with 3rd party vendors, lenders, investors, legal counsels, loan brokers, and other individuals on a regular basis
  • Work with the construction team to track the progress and cost of capital improvement projects
  • Prepare lender-required reports, oversee lender inspections and track loan covenants such as lender requirements and loan hurdles
  • Be an active participate in monthly asset reviews with property management team, which includes monthly review of financials, occupancy and renovation progress.
  • Assist in due diligence for supplemental loans and refinances for portfolio assets
  • Assist in review of legal documents related to real estate transactions
  • Assist in coordination of post-acquisition activities and integration of asset into the firm’s portfolio
  • Assist in disposition process by coordinating delivery of Due Diligence materials and proration review.
  • Assist in preparing quarterly financial reporting to investors
  • Assist in preparing new financing memorandums
  • Assist in special projects related to the portfolio

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word and Power Point
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task

Preferred Skills:

  • Prefer 1 year of experience in multifamily real estate asset management, property management, acquisitions and/or valuation.
  • Degree in Real Estate, Finance, or Accounting
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage projects effectively and accurately.
  • Must maintain a quality work product and meeting required timelines
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.
  • Proficiency in various forms of software: Yardi, Entrata, Costar
  • Some travel may be required to visit assets for inspections, property manager meetings and market tours.
