CONFIDENTIAL COMPANY is looking for an Investor Relations Associate to assist in the company’s investor communications, investor operations, and quarterly distribution process. This role involves collaboration with CONFIDENTIAL COMPANY’s senior executive team, investor relations team, and accounting team with the objective of delivering high quality service and information to our investors.

 

This position requires analytical, financial and communication skills, both written and verbal; as well as excellent follow-up skills, the ability to multitask, and a positive attitude.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

 

  • Assist with distributions including reviewing capital event waterfalls, financial statements and preferred interest distribution schedules for multiple investment properties
  • Oversee investor materials and marketing initiatives for funds and syndications
  • Analyze financial performance and prepare valuations for investments, and report findings in a clear, concise method to the senior team and investors
  • Responsible for proactive correspondence to investors including performance updates, deal closing e-blasts, market updates, current events, newsletters, investment related notifications/updates, etc
  • Oversee the CRM data maintenance process

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting, real estate analyst, or accounting experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail, and quality deliverables
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time and strong project management skills, results-driven, and adaptable with ability to meet deadlines
  • Familiar with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
