We are looking for a Quantitative Investment Research Analyst to become an integral member of our investment team. The successful candidate will be intricately involved in developing and maintaining the quantitative tools and processes utilized by our investment team to generate outstanding investment performance. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of both proprietary and third-party data sources, analyzing large amounts of data to identify investment patterns and develop predictive models, communicating results to senior members of the team, and assisting in other aspects of the investment process including portfolio risk management, scenario analysis, and optimization.
- Master s Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
- Deep understanding of computer science and statistics.
- Proficient in query languages (SQL, etc.), as well as statistical programming languages (R, Python, etc.).
- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, random forests, regression, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts both verbally and in writing.
- Familiarity with portfolio analytics and risk management software a plus (e.g., Factset, Axioma).
All CBRE Clarion personnel receive on-the-job and formal training. The nature and length of this training depends on the individual's position, prior experience, and educational background.
