CBRE Affordable Housing Group is seeking an Associate Financial Analyst who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, has a high-level analytical aptitude and is ready to join our Seattle-based real estate services team. CBRE Affordable Housing Group is the pioneer and national market leader in providing transaction brokerage and advisory services for Section 42 Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and Section 8 multifamily properties throughout the United States.
The Associate Financial Analyst will drive all aspects of LIHTC property valuations and investment analysis. Responsibilities will include preparing financial models, research and analysis to establish supportable underwriting assumptions, presenting optimal valuation strategies and pricing recommendations to the Advisory Team, and administrative and organizational aspects of workflow. Prepare financial models for investment analysis using Microsoft Excel
Abstract property financial information and other due diligence including promissory notes and regulatory agreements
Conduct market research on demographic and economic trends
Complete and review rent and sale comparability studies
Establish supportable underwriting assumptions and cash flow projections for investment sale opportunities using market research and analysis
Present valuation strategies and pricing recommendations to Advisory Team
Manage assigned valuation pipeline
Complete special projects as assigned to create process improvements and to advance the industry knowledge of the team
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of financial, economic, and accounting concepts including risk and pricing strategy
Microsoft Excel - intermediate to advanced proficiency
Outstanding attention to detail
Critical thinking
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Project management and the ability to multi-task in a high-speed environment
Self-motivated

Strong work ethic
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in finance, accounting, mathematics, economics, real estate, or a related field
Prior real estate or investment analysis experience preferred
