The Ikigai Group of Companies is purposely structured to control the entire development process, from customer acquisition to land development, project financing, procurement, construction, and delivery under the umbrella of its vertically integrated business operations framework.

Modments is rapidly expanding and is seeking a Real Estate Development Analyst to support the development efforts in our Alpharetta office. The position has broad exposure to land and multi-family asset types in markets across the United States. The analyst will work as a member of the Underwriting team and is responsible for a wide variety of functions in order to deliver high- quality investment memorandums to our investment committee.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Review market research for potential site acquisition and development opportunities including, but not limited to: ownership, zoning, permits, environmental regulations, and comparable rent and sale data
Analyze and underwrite property-level opportunities and model financial scenarios using Excel and Argus Developer
Review construction budgets
Coordinate and assist the due diligence process for acquisition and development opportunities
Review reports from third-party vendors including: appraisals, environmental site assessments, engineering reports, and construction progress reports
Prepare memos, presentations, project status updates and proposals for investment committee approval
Frequently interact with real estate professionals including: city, county and state officials, brokers, and property management to obtain timely information about new and existing
projects
Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Economics or related field
Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
Prior experience with Argus Developer is preferred
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Driven individual with a desire to succeed in a team-based, fast-paced environment
Demonstrate an investigative and persistent attitude
1-2 years of work experience; educational or professional experience in commercial real estate is strongly preferred
