Landmark Properties, headquartered in Athens, Georgia, is a fully integrated real estate firm specializing in the development and management of high quality student housing communities. We are seeking a Senior Associate for our corporate office. The Senior Associate will assist the Investment Management Team with asset management functions including budget preparation, the implementation of leasing strategy, “value-add” business plan executions, interfacing with joint venture partners, appraisal reviews, and other assignments. The Senior Associate will also assist with financings, recapitalizations and dispositions across his or her assigned portfolio

Roles and Responsibilities
The Senior Associate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following functions. The role and responsibilities will evolve with the needs of the company and capabilities of the Senior Associate.
- Formation and implementation of asset management and leasing strategies.
- Lead review and finalization of proposed budgets prepared by operations team.
- Assist with preparation of cash flow analyses and investment return projections.
- Assist evaluation and execution of financings, recapitalizations, and dispositions.
- Compile and review investment analysis for presentation and distribution to management, lenders, and investment partners.
- Provide advanced analytical and financial modeling to analyze property performance, make hold/sell/refinance recommendations and address ad hoc reporting requests to ownership.
- Assist with information dissemination and review of annual appraisals.
- Accompany partners/lenders on trips to owned assets to inspect the assets, perform due diligence, and conduct market research.
- +/- 5 years of Commercial Real Estate experience.
- Undergraduate degree is required, preferably with a focus in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or other relevant subject matter.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects
- Advanced understanding of underwriting and investment concepts and the ability to apply concepts.
- Advanced financial and analytical skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
