Job Summary:
VP of Cloud Transformation, to lead cloud migration across the Global Enterprise. The scope will include the Global Infrastructure team for Cloud, Governance and all associated Automation activities. You will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of these platforms including solution engineering, program management, execution, and implementation of end-to-end operations.
You will lead transformation through the development of our Cloud platforms, optimization of legacy footprints, and acceleration of our end-state by leveraging automation. You partner and communicate effectively with IT leaders across our application development teams regarding infrastructure design and DevOps capabilities to ensure that strategic priorities are being met through an effective operating system and processes.
Responsibilities:
Drive DevOps principals working with application teams
Transform infrastructure team leveraging cloud and DevOps
Guide the application development teams regarding infrastructure design and automation of infrastructure services
Drive end-to-end operations and effective asset utilization and optimization
Collaborate with IT Leaders and business partners to gain consensus on solutions
Direct system performance analysis, tuning and capacity planning efforts across the enterprise
Drive and executive productivity initiatives reducing the total cost to operate
Directs enterprise-wide large scale projects of significant scale and impact
Drive Infrastructure technology transformation
Work with application teams to drive cloud migration
Develop and mentor a high performing team of global professionals
Provide strong leadership, guidance, and direction related to cloud hosting service delivery
Manage adherence to security and compliance safeguards, policies and procedures
Managing change, assets, and documentation for top quality support
Establishes key KPI, SLA s, metrics and measurements demonstrating area health.
Communicates through operational reviews. Measures and tracks against industry benchmarks and standards.
Identifies and implements critical metrics necessary to manage and monitor the performance of overall operations including: capacity, availability, budget, and inventory.
Develops opportunities for cross-team effectiveness and remove organizational barriers for strong teamwork, collaboration, and excellent service delivery.
Manages budgeting and forecasting, planning, deployment, incident and problem management, change management.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and/or Master's Degree in an information technology-related field
10+ years of experience in Information Technology Infrastructure
5+ years hands-on on experience with multiple cloud technologies
Direct experience driving continuous improvements in process and operational efficiencies.
Lead process-improvement efforts and manage the implementation of both business processes and technical solutions. Drive best practices across cross functional teams.
Track record driving migrations to the public cloud especially to AWS and Azure Experience
working in a global organization with distributed locations. Exceptional leadership communication, partnership building and executive presence
Strong influencing, program and change management skills Strong business acumen and customer focus
We Value
Prior experience in implementation of hybrid cloud virtual data center utilizing both public technology experience with some of the following:
Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, VMWare, Redhat OpenShift, Kubernetes
Experience with the ITIL operations framework
Experience defining the vision and building the plan to implement a significant new function
Experience in orchestration, automation and optimization of servers, storage, virtualization, high-availability, backup and disaster recovery Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting and experience with emerging technologies such as Containers/Docker and Micro-Services
Experience with infrastructure technology on a global level Effectively demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision.
Consistently makes timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
