The Mergers and Acquisitions Associate will assist the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and other Senior Executives with nationwide recruitment and company acquisitions in the commercial real estate capital markets business.  
 
Responsibilities:
  • Assist CEO, COO and executive team with recruitment and acquisition process, analysis, including due diligence, and documentation.
  • Organize, track and report on outreach efforts with CEO/COO.
  • Coordinate/lead the recruitment and acquisition processes after the point for which a prospect is identified, including:
  • Preparation of necessary legal documents, working with outside counsel
  • Preparation of offer letters
  • Interface directly with prospects to obtain information needed to analyze deals
  • Coordinate profitability and related analysis of prospect with finance department
  • Coordinate negotiation of key terms with CEO/COO
  • Coordinates with COO, HR, IT, Finance and Marketing to ensure onboarding is completed timely.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient time management, organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage several recruitment/acquisition processes simultaneously.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate industry preferred.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field required; M.B.A. preferred.
  • Five years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Some travel may be required, estimated 20%.
