COMPANY OVERVIEW: Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Denver, Colorado, Brue Baukol Capital Partners (“BBCP”) is a private equity real estate investment firm that has acquired and developed more than $1.1 billion in real estate assets since its inception. Primarily a capital provider that co-develops new projects with an enviable and growing list of joint venture development partners, the firm also owns properties with BBCP as the sole manager, including numerous strategic land holdings.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Asset Manager will work independently and with the BBCP leadership team overseeing a subset of the BBCP portfolio, acting as ownership’s representative to ensure the successful implementation of each project’s strategic plan. In most cases, the role involves coordination with an outside operating joint venture partner where the Asset Manager serves as BBCP’s primary contact for the JV partner.  The position also entails oversight and making recommendations regarding the financial and operational performance of all assets under management. The Asset Manager will perform duties including:

• Overseeing and performing ongoing assessment of investment strategy for existing projects;

• Collaborating with and driving property management, leasing brokers and sales brokers to ensure maximum financial performance of the assets;

• Becoming BBCP’s point person in the market related to assets under his/her management, staying current on competitive projects and market comparable pricing, and growing and maintaining relationships with brokers, adjacent property owners and tenants;

• Providing hold/sell recommendations to senior management and running point on the disposition process;

• Aiding the BBCP leadership team in the evaluation of new investment opportunities, establishment of strategic business plans for these new projects, and providing input into new investment offering documents and joint venture agreements;

• Creating trusted, permanent relationships and interfacing with partners, lenders, investors, and executives;

• Selflessly mentoring and assisting other team members.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: The Asset Manager must possess the following skills/qualifications:

• Confidence to work independently, yet within a highly collaborative environment;

• Excellent technical, analytical, organizational and communication

skills;

• Comprehensive understanding of financial pro formas, budget management and tenant financials;

• Strong leadership and articulate/polished communication skills

(listening, verbal & written);

• Outgoing, confident, and likeable personality with ability to

motivate, mentor and communicate well with employees, joint venture partners and other outside contacts;

• Excellent organizational skills including strong follow-through and

multi-tasking skills within a fast-paced environment;

         • Minimal travel may be required.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 5-15 years’ direct experience in commercial real estate asset management is required.  Given the weighting of BBCP’s portfolio towards development, some development and/or capital project management experience will also be essential.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in related field, such as Business, Finance or Real Estate

COMPENSATION: The role will provide a highly competitive compensation offering that matches the success and the skills of the candidate.  Bonus potential includes both personal performance and company performance opportunities.
