Description
The CBRE Loan Services Analyst position is responsible for interaction within our internal organization, borrowers, clients, contractors, attorneys, title companies, architects, brokers, appraisers, and other deal related parties. The position requires the ability to independently perform: preparation of formal written presentations analyzing a wide spectrum of issues relating to both loan and property-level requests, delivery of the highest level of customer service to both internal and external clients, prepare detailed financial analysis, modeling and commercial mortgage underwriting duties, abstracting of loan and transactional documents, property inspections, and other functions including; market / sub-market research and presentation and creation of written presentations.
Assists Portfolio Managers by performing tasks involved in monitoring the performance and progress under business plans related to a defined portfolio of assigned commercial real estate loans and joint venture investments.
Provides excellent customer service and problem resolution for client, borrower, and internal / external customers.
Review and interpret loan documents and monitor compliance in accordance with deal documents.
Analysis of property level financial statements including operating statements, balance sheets and rent rolls.
Conducts research and financial analysis of commercial real estate properties, loans and portfolio.
Assists with data compilation for lender decisions. Makes presentation of analysis that will be used for investment decisions.
Build and maintain financial models to track capital inflows and outflows related to ground up and major renovation commercial real estate deals with multiple capital partners.
Reconcile and review loan draws for funding of construction, leasing and capital costs.
Ability to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
Upon request, conduct property inspections coordination with client and/or 3rd party inspector.
Review budgets annually and monitor operating statements on a periodic basis, spreading both to industry standards upon receipt and benchmarking to the underwriting projections.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.

High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required with a minimum of 3 years related experience. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
