Position Overview

This is a financial sales support role. Tower’s analyst will create financial models, conduct market research, write offering memorandums, create marketing flyers, and conduct telephone interviews.

 

A successful analyst will be proficient with financial concepts and will be able to use Microsoft Excel functions used in financial analysis. The analyst should be able to use financial ratio analysis to compare various opportunities. Also, be familiar with commercial real estate concepts including NOI, DSCR, debt yield, IRR, cash on cash return, equity multiples, and equity waterfall structures. Keyboard shortcut proficiency is desired.

 

Experience with Adobe graphic design software, Microsoft Publisher, and/or other design software is highly desired. We want you if you are experienced creating offering memorandums, decks, or investment memorandums.

 

The analyst must be confident with written and verbal communication skills. The analyst will report findings and make recommendations, both verbally and in detailed narrative, to loan originators, clients, and lenders, and should be comfortable making outbound-calls and conducting phone interviews.

Analysts often continue their career paths as loan-originators, banking officers, investment sales professionals, asset managers or real estate investors/developers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team in closing multi-million dollar financing transactions by collecting information, analyzing data, summarizing your findings, and disseminating your recommendations
  • Prepare visually stunning and informative presentations
  • Create complex financial forecasting models
  • Review and understand real estate documents including leases, loan documents, appraisals, title insurance documents, etc.
  • Assist with marketing, database, and other general office needs as required

 

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Required 2 or more years of experience in the commercial real estate sector including: commercial mortgage brokerage, banking, financial services, leasing, or investment sales
  • Four-year college degree. Major in real estate, finance, mathematics, economics, or related preferred
  • High attention to detail
  • Knowledge of common commercial loan products, programs, and procedures
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; needs to be resourceful
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments; able to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated work ethic and willingness to work extended hours when necessary
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in visually stunning design
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications (Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat)
  • Enthusiastic attitude

 

 

Compensation

This is a fulltime position offering flexible in-office hours, with the emphasis on employee’s ability to produce results and achieve objectives.  The new hire must have the availability to work and answer emails beyond just the 9 to 5 timeframe. A competitive salary will be offered based upon each candidate’s experience and qualifications.
