BGO Built to Lead Internship Program: 

BentallGreenOak is recruiting for an Investment Management Intern as part of the BGO Built to Lead Internship Program. As a BGO Built to Lead Intern, you will work alongside our industry leaders to help solve real-world challenges in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.  This is a paid 12-month developmental opportunity, and throughout the course of the placement, participants will have access to mentorship from senior leaders and to a formal training curriculum geared towards soft skills, business skills and leadership development.

 

The Opportunity:

The Intern, Talent Equity, Diversity and Inclusion will play a critical role in providing support to the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) team and the People and Talent team (P&T) within the Corporate division. This individual will work collaboratively with P&T and the EDI Leadership Council and other stakeholders to support deliverables related to BentallGreenOak’s overall Equity, Diversity and Inclusion & Talent (EDI&T) strategy and related goals.

 

What you will do:

  •  Coordinate and maintain People and Talent SharePoint site as it pertains to resource material that support overall EDI&T initiatives;
  •  Fill-out requested EDI related investor questionnaires and other EDI related surveys/questionnaires/statements;
  •  Deploy assessments, surveys and reference materials that support EDI&T initiatives;
  •  Assist in compiling and maintaining reports/dashboards for EDI&T initiatives;
  •  Proof-read internal communications/presentations to edit and manage updates as necessary;
  •  Coordinate and collaborate with Internal stakeholders pertaining to EDI&T related matters.

 

Who You Are:

  • Strong interest in equity, diversity and inclusion work and talent development;
  • Detail-oriented with high standards for the quality of deliverables;
  • Shows diplomacy and discretion in handling information of confidential and sensitive nature.
  • Relationship Skills – Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written; ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships; team player;
  • Organizational Skills – Ability to allocate one’s time effectively and work under pressure; ability to prioritize workload; ability to work at a detailed level; willingness to learn in a dynamic environment that includes new ideas and change;
  •  Computer Skills – Intermediate skills in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs, and a natural curiosity and intuitiveness for learning new applications.
