Anchor Health Properties, a national full-service real estate development, management, and investment company, is seeking an Asset Management Associate to join their team. The Asset Management Associate will be part of a team that supports the Asset Management, Property Management, Development and Acquisition services of Anchor Health Properties and its affiliated entities and clientele.

The role of the Asset Management Associate is multi-disciplinary in function, serving in an analytical, strategic and administrative reporting role across company platforms (namely management and investments/acquisitions). The Asset Management Associate plays a key role in adding and protecting value in owned and managed assets by overseeing the financial and strategic performance of specific assets and providing valuable analytical reporting and actionable insights to our management team, leadership and investors. The role will report to the Vice President of Asset Management and requires a high relational IQ and strong financial analytical and modeling experience in order to navigate various negotiations and successfully manage asset performance.



Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Manage a portfolio of assets in line with the Business Plan objectives with special attention on the financial and strategic performance of the assets with the understanding that the managed portfolio will grow in time.
  • Manage, update and improve routine reports and dashboards, including:
  • Quarterly anchor tenant credit rating tracker
  • Quarterly debt dashboard
  • Quarterly asset management dashboard
  • Manage and update reporting as required for an institutional fund, including but not limited to fund performance, fund variance reports, etc.
  • Manage routine good news financing draws (CapEx, TI, LC) with various stable of lenders.
  • Assist colleague’s in the analysis of impact of various leasing, debt and capital expenditures to asset performance
  • Manage (administratively) Anchor’s lease listings on various leasing websites and databases including CoStar and LoopNet.
  • Manage (administratively) Anchor’s leasing and asset management platform, VTS, namely set up of new assets upon acquisition.
  • Conduct assigned research projects and prepare informal summaries for business initiatives and management decision purposes.
  • Researching rental market trends and operational or other asset issues and preparing analytical materials for management plans.
  • Analyze financial performance of potential and current properties and portfolios and prepare/present investment and strategic planning recommendations.
  • Execute on the transition of key property financial metrics from the acquisition phase to management platform.
  • Directly support Management for special projects and assignments.
  • Responsibility for the research, creation and management of files and databases needed for the successful development and/or furtherance of Anchor Health Properties projects, operations and relationships.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with Anchor Health Properties clientele and their teams – from the executive team to receptionists and beyond.
  • Work in a fast-paced work environment while managing conflicting priorities.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must possess meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, an energetic work-ethic, and the ability to accurately manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must identify as a “teachable” employee and have a “can-do” attitude, professional correspondence etiquette, strong interpersonal skills and take “ownership”/pride in work deliverables.
  • Must have strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Programs, particularly Excel.
  • Must be eager to learn and grow, both personally and professionally.
  • Must be able to work in an extremely fast-paced environment while managing conflicting priorities.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or Management preferred.
  • Argus experience preferred.
  • Real estate, property management or customer service experience required.
  • Prior analyst position in the real estate or finance industries preferred.
  • Prior leasing experience preferred.
  • Industry credentials (CPM, CCIM, etc.) and association involvement (IREM, BOMA, ULI, etc.) preferred.
