Investor Relations Manager
Graceada Partners is looking for a full-time, experienced Investor Relations professional to join our Modesto, CA team. The candidate must be investor-focused, success-driven, and have industry knowledge.
Graceada Partners is a Modesto, California-based real estate investment firm specializing in value-add real estate investment in California's fastest-growing (and most affordable) region, the Central Valley. The firm has $0.5 billion in AUM and its principals have more than 25 years of combined experience in real estate acquisition, leasing, financing, and management. Over the last five years, we have sponsored ten individual syndications and two discretionary closed-end funds and are launching our third closed-end fund. Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage communications with individual and institutional investors as well as consultants.
- Assist all investors through regular, on-going outreach by answering questions, concerns, or issues professionally and responsively.
- Develop and manage investor communication content and cadence.
- Represent the firm at industry organizations and events.
- Help lead podcast scheduling, whitepaper development, social media, and other marketing strategies.
- Manage the onboarding process for all new investors.
- Oversee the utilization and on-going buildout of the Juniper Square database.
- Record meeting notes during investor calls and coordinate follow-up materials for distribution to investors following each meeting/call.
- Generate fund investor trackers for designated funds, separate accounts, co-investments, or joint ventures.
- Work with the management, accounting, and acquisitions teams to prepare and improve quarterly investor reports, acquisition and disposition updates, capital call and distribution notices, and respond to inbound investor inquiries.
- Ensure all communication to investors is consistent with brand standards and messaging.
- Coordinate and drive content for annual investor meetings, LPAC meetings, and other LP events.
- Be the lead on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) marketing efforts with investors.
- Communicate with Graceada’s strategic advisors to lead internal process improvements and enhance best practices.
- Keep abreast of market conditions, industry news, and legal issues.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing marketing and fundraising materials, including pitch books, campaign teasers, due diligence questionnaires, offering memorandum, competitor information, prospect pipelines, among others for investors.
- Work with senior management to develop a marketing plan and pipeline of potential investors.
- Assist senior management in the research and prioritization of potential prospects.
- Source industry research related to fundraising or supporting data related to fundraising strategies and rationale.
- Assist in raising capital and revising strategies to attract new capital.
- Complete additional tasks and special projects as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Client Service or Investor Relations experience in Financial Services/Real Estate preferred
- Investor oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated proficiency in anticipating requests/needs.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively maintain databases, keep accurate to-do lists, and follow up with all investor requests.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, writing, and research skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems including Juniper Square
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (including Excel and PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel as required.
Compensation & Location
- The position is based on Modesto, CA.
- Annual compensation based on experience plus a goals-based quarterly bonus
