CBRE Investment Management, a part of CBRE Group, is a real estate-focused asset manager with over $129 billion in assets under management, serving primarily institutional clients across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

We are looking to hire an experienced Global Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to take our FP&A team and processes to the next level, supporting all aspects of panning and financial decision support and insight. This position will report directly to the Global Head of FP&A for CBRE's Real Estate Investments Segment with a matrix into the CFO of CBRE Investment Management and have substantial interaction with other key stakeholders worldwide.

This is a critical position within the organization as we need someone who will actively engage with senior leadership across multiple regions globally, will lead a team and oversee all annual budgeting, forecasting, reporting on metrics and key activities and provide decisions supported through financial analyses to ensure the best strategic and tactical decisions. The ideal candidate will have heavy financial analysis experience combined with big data and excellent process management skills. Ideally, we would like to hire an individual who has experience working for multinational companies and understands the requirements needed to work successfully in a rapidly evolving organization.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for providing executive level direction and management oversight for financial planning, budgeting and budget analysis, support to business operations
• Design and refine complex financial models that forecast and analyze functional costs in order to fully understand sources of variance and, ultimately, improve forecast accuracy
• Assist in the development of strategic alternatives including the establishment of long-term goals and objectives, helping to identify objectives, as appropriate, and assist in the execution of our strategic agendas
• Ensure appropriate financial systems, reporting and analysis to support business growth and objectives with a mindset of continuous improvement
• Provide visibility and predictability to the organization through accurate and timely financial planning and reporting of results, including financial statements and analysis for senior management, the company's Board of Directors and other key stakeholders
• Lead, motivate, develop, and retain a high-performing group of finance team members on a global basis
• Partner with the technology division on system implementation, upgrades, automation and customization

Leadership:
• Set and effectively communicate department strategy and priorities, in alignment with the broader company and finance division strategy.
• Model and cultivate a continuous-improvement mindset; challenge existing processes and encourage the adoption of technology-based solutions and enhancements.
• Encourage collaboration and communication within and beyond the department; work effectively with leadership of other functional areas and with controllers of other CBRE business lines
• Provide ongoing informal and formal feedback. Work with direct reports to set performance-related goals. Identify development needs and training opportunities; connect the team with appropriate internal resources.

Qualifications:
• 12+ years of progressive experience, including public company experience.
• Experience in the investment/asset management industry.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and experience and various planning platforms (e.g., Cognos/TM-1, etc.)
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, MBA a plus
• Solid team leader, with strong developmental skills able to work with direct team as well as shared global finance team.
• Must be very organized, detail-oriented and possess exceptional time management skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex issues in a simple manner.
• Highly motivated, self-starter who manages projects end-to-end and has a demonstrated track record of getting results, organizing and prioritizing deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task several important priorities simultaneously.
