Job Description:
The Multifamily Investment Group of Kennedy Wilson is seeking a 2-3 year Senior Accountant, who is driven, motivated and a self-starter.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the month end process for the Multifamily Investment Group including reviewing financial packages from third party management companies, posting journal entries, reconciling bank accounts and reconciling GL accounts
- Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages to partners
- Prepare and distribute quarterly financials to various lenders and prepare/review lender reserve draws
- Perform treasury functions, including setting up new bank accounts, setting up wires, confirming wire instructions, monitoring cash balances and making capital calls and distributions
- Calculating asset and equity management fees
- Assist with coordinating audits including corporate and property-level audits, as well as SOX compliance
- Assist asset management team with annual budgeting process
Qualifications:
- Confident, articulate, self-starter
- Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience with an emphasis in the real estate industry
- Prefer experience in both public accounting and private industry accounting
- CPA preferred, but not required

- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel (formulas and functions)
- Interest in data automation and PowerBI
- Familiar and experienced in performance metrics for real estate investments
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting pronouncements in general
- Understand variance analysis when comparing actual to budget or historical results
- Understand how to read and write financial statements
- Exceptional computer skills in the operation and functioning of all programs used by the organization, i.e., Excel, Word, YARDI (general ledger) and Outlook E-Mail
- Able to organize and summarize information in writing and to proofread work
- Able to understand instructions and react favorably in work situations
- Enjoy fast-paced, multi-task environment
- Task and goal-oriented and capable of functioning in an entrepreneurial and corporate setting
- Able to work in a dynamic office setting
- Able to work occasional evenings and weekends
