Position Description

Acram Group is looking to add an analyst to its acquisition team who exhibits strong underwriting skills and passion for commercial real estate.  The candidate will be critical in helping Acram Group grow its commercial real estate portfolio by primarily underwriting new acquisition opportunities and performing live deal due diligence.  The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in real estate acquisitions or real estate investment banking.  Cultural fit with the Acram Group team is critical.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new acquisition opportunities in Acram’s target markets, primarily focused on office, flex industrial, covered land and multi-family properties
• Build/maintain financial excel and Argus models, review leases, property financials and third-party reports
• Perform investment due diligence including on-site due diligence requiring travel
• Draft investment memorandums and perform market research
• Perform targeted research projects on new investment strategies or acquisition targets
• Assist in the asset management of portfolio properties

Qualifications

• Superior analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ARGUS and PowerPoint
• ARGUS work experience is required
• Understanding of real estate transactions, equity capitalizations, and mortgage debt structures
• 1-3 years of relevant real estate experience (banking, investment sales, acquisitions, or asset management)
• Passion for real estate and investing
• Familiarity with office, flex-industrial and multi-family real estate asset classes
• Demonstrated track record of high achievement in demanding professional and academic settings
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, highly organized, motivated, energetic and independent with strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent references

Other Details:

• Timing is immediate
• Compensation will be commensurate with the market and the individual’s experience
• Location will be Dallas, TX, but the candidate will be required to travel to Greenwich, CT, on a frequent basis
