TA Realty is hiring for an Asset Manager. This role will be part of the Asset Management team, reporting to the Head of Asset Management Partner in our Boston, MA office and supported by a Partner based in our Dallas, TX office.


Essential Job Functions

  • Instruct and manage the leasing efforts of third-party brokers on both stabilized and value-add assets of all product types (industrial, office, multi-family and retail);
  • Work with third-party property managers in the field to implement acquisition business plans and asset strategies;
  • Develop, monitor, analyze and adjust budgets throughout the year;
  • In conjunction with annual budget process, update Argus cash flow models to reflect leasing and operational activities;
  • Update quarterly reports for separate account clients: variance explanations, leasing highlights/status of rollover and market/submarket updates;
  • Assist Valuations team with quarterly updates providing guidance on market rents, status of lease rollover, capital projects, etc.;
  • Provide input to acquisitions team regarding market and operational assumptions for potential new acquisitions.
  • Provide recommendations to the Portfolio Management team regarding the asset business plan/budget including leasing and capital decisions that have a significant impact on the value and performance of the asset.

 

Requirements

 

  • BA or BS degree required, MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the Asset Management of commercial real estate.
  • Leasing experience is required.
  • Must be proficient in Argus, Excel and Word.
  • Must have strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills: need to regularly communicate asset updates to various stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and thrives in an entrepreneurial work environment.
  • Multifamily experience a plus.
  • Willingness to travel periodically.
