III. Job Duties:

 

• Create and maintain detailed financial analyses utilizing Microsoft Excel to evaluate prospective and existing investments, incorporating joint venture structures and debt financing.

• Analyze and maintain existing datasets and financial models to provide ongoing analyses

and reporting utilizing Microsoft Excel

• Coordinate the development of Annual Business Plans and Quarterly reports by assisting in

the preparation of property operating and capital budgets and reviewing and approving

on-going financial variance reporting.

• Conduct ongoing quantitative and qualitative analyses to support decision making

related to execution of asset business plans including hold/sell/refi analysis.

• Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials.

• Perform detailed market research on supply/demand fundamentals, economic trends,

comparable sales and lease transactions, etc.

• Work closely with joint venture partners, brokers, consultants and attorneys to provide

direction for and oversight of business plans, budgets, forecasts, leases, analysis and

approvals.

• Support deal team to negotiate and close acquisitions, refinancing and recapitalizations.

• Assist deal team in performing acquisition due diligence, including reviewing leases,

contracts, historical operating statements, etc.

• Networking within the industry to expand company presence in the marketplace among the

candidate’s peer group.

 

IV. Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university. Coursework in Finance, Economics and/or Real Estate preferred.

• Ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience in investment real estate, preferably in NYC

• Experience working with a New York City real estate owner/developer/investor

• Excellent real estate financial modeling skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Knowledge of multifamily and operation aspects of various property types

• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Outstanding work ethic and ability to work in a collaborative entrepreneurial environment given the small team.

• Must be motivated, self-directed and proactive.
