POSITION OVERVIEW 

The marketing coordinator position provides superior marketing and design support to a high-end commercial real estate brokerage team. In addition, this role executes the corporate marketing strategy and initiatives locally while providing insight to corporate marketing on how these strategies are best refined for optimum local execution. The overall goal of this position is to provide the best transaction, marketing and business development support in our industry while enhancing the SRS brand.

The successful candidate in this position will play a critical role in the support of SRS’ industry-leading retail real estate brokers and the presence of the SRS brand in the local market. This role requires a customer-service-focused attitude and offers a well-rounded marketing position with opportunities for growing knowledge and experience in all facets of marketing, business development, and commercial real estate. This position is supported by the corporate marketing team which provides access to the best marketing software, tools, and templates in the industry as well as ongoing training.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Transaction, Marketing & Business Development Support

· Manage a pipeline of projects and assist research analysts with market aerial map creation as well as demographic and traffic count research as needed

· Create a wide variety of custom and templated marketing materials in Adobe InDesign and PhotoShop

· Create marketing packages, tour books, aerials, and presentations for site submittals, property listings, growing retailer clients, and business development pitches

· Ensure all communications, presentations, and collateral enhance the SRS brand and are in line with the brand guidelines and precedents set by the corporate marketing team

· Prepare documents related to transactions, which may include letters of intent, commission agreements, contract forms, and reporting spreadsheets

· Assist brokers in managing transaction activity related to leases, and acquisitions

· Utilize Apto (Salesforce-based business management software) to assist brokers in tracking the progress of their business development pursuits

· Create and deploy e-mail blasts for property listings, store openings, growing retailer clients, newsletters, and other announcements as needed

· Create and maintain property listings, client information, and team member bios as needed on SRSRE.COM, CoStar, LoopNet, and potentially other third-party sites

· Run reports on Placer.ai (data analytics software) and summarize the results

· Maintain, update, and segment contact databases, email distribution lists, and party invitation lists

· Assist in aspects of computer usage related to marketing including e-mail signatures, styling documents according to SRS brand standards, and printing

· Work with/oversee remote support team in India; submit and manage projects to completion

· Maintain sale and lease comparables database and sale and lease volumes for team

Administrative Support

· Assist in scheduling tradeshow meetings, managing broker calendars, and conference room bookings

· Assist with expense reports and travel arrangements as needed

· Organize and maintain internal databases and files 

· Maintain personal time card

Communications, Public Relations, Social Media, and Events

· Work as a liaison with third-party public relations agency ensure they have the details for transaction-related and other important press releases

· Work with local team members to submit market/industry award applications for local office and brokers

· Assist brokers with enhancing and maintaining their professional presence on LinkedIn 

Research

· Utilize ArcMap and ArcGIS to create maps such as market plan maps, polygon maps, and competition maps

· Utilize Esri Business Analyst Online to acquire demos

· Create interactive maps using Google My Maps and keep layers up to date

· Run reports on Placer.ai (data analytics software) and summarize the results

 

QUALIFICATIONS

· Team player and desire to take ownership of the position

· Highly effective at multi-tasking and quickly prioritizing in a fast paced and professional work environment 

· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, advertising, or public relations

· Minimum of three years’ related experience required preferred

· Commercial real estate marketing experience required, retail preferred

· Real estate license preferred

· Strong attention to detail with excellent grammar as well as organizational, project management, and communication skills

· Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign and Photoshop are required; Illustrator is a plus)

· Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)

· Strong Google Maps (My Maps) skills 

· E-mail marketing, public relations, social media, database management, and event coordination experience preferred
