Position Overview:
The Investment Associate will be based in San Francisco and will play a critical role in the underwriting and execution of new investment opportunities across of StepStone Real Estate’s investment vehicles and strategies. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Quantitative Analysis:
- Developing complex financial models in Excel- Creating detailed asset-level and portfolio-level analysis from scratch
- Preparing annual re-forecasts of existing investments
Market and Property Research:
- Compiling and summarizing market research reports and data- Assembling and evaluating sales and rent comparables
- Analyzing property operations
Presentation and Document Writing:
- Assisting with the preparation of investment committee memoranda- Assisting with the preparation and review of transactional documents
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree from top-tier institution- 1-4 years experience in a real estate investment / financial role
- Exceptional financial modeling skills
- Exceptional business writing skills
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word
