(Finance)

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the VP of Strategy and FP&A, this position is responsible for coordinating and consolidating the budgeting and forecasting of the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow of functions throughout the business. The FP&A associate is responsible for performing variance analysis, ad hoc analysis, and modeling of business initiatives and investments to determine financial returns and impacts across the business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Manage the consolidation and review of the of the annual five-year business plan across all business units.
• Work directly with the VP of Strategy and FP&A to develop a comprehensive business plan presentation for company executives, board of managers and owners, which would include scenario planning and analysis.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to build and/or enhance modeling, reporting and analysis.
• Maintain and develop financial models to support new strategic initiatives
• Consolidate monthly reforecasting efforts across the business
• Lead monthly variance analysis of actuals versus budget and reprojections
• Help build and maintain a financial model for the consolidated business
• Prepare enterprise presentations and reports for marketing and new business initiatives.
• Preform ad hoc models and analysis of projects and investments for development teams.
• Assist in the generation, preparation and review of investment committee and board packages.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

Minimum:
• 4+ years in FP&A, M&A or Accounting experience
• Advance Excel and financial modeling skills including multi-year forecasting and financial statement models.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP including financial reporting, cash flow statements, and accounting for investments.
• Excellent analytical skills and detailed oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience. Additional relevant qualifications or certifications preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Communicate and converse to exchange information
• Ability to operate a computer keyboard, phone, calculator and other office equipment with or without accommodations.
• Seeing to read a variety of materials
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
• Must be able to transport 10-25 lbs. (computer, files, etc.)
• Move about the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Ability to work under stressful, fast-paced conditions

• Flexible working hours are M-F, 8:00am – 5:00pm (alternate schedule may apply)
• Must have reliable transportation

OTHER DEMANDS
• Ability to travel to field locations and stay overnight, if required
