Description


NOA Design + Construction (NOA) is a fully-integrated design and project management firm. We specialize in the design and execution of high-end residential properties in San Francisco and throughout the Bay Area.
As the single point of contact, we manage each project from inception to completion. Our services include design, interiors, project management, construction, and move-in. Through the integration of these elements we maintain control over the entire trajectory of the project.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and reliable Project Manager with at least 5 years of experience to join our team in San Francisco, CA.

As Project Manager, you are responsible for the management and delivery of high end residential projects. You are proactive, love to multitask and work in a fast paced environment. You will work closely with our Senior Project Manager and other members of the NOA team to see assigned projects to completion. Ideally, you are enthusiastic about architecture and design and are eager to assist and learn in all capacities. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble and coordinate all required disciplines for each project and manage agreements and change orders for each subcontractor
  • Manage and implement client projects through entitlement process, design development, construction, and project completion on several projects simultaneously
  • Build and maintain project budgets & schedules on a weekly basis
  • Prepare client email updates on a weekly basis
  • Prepare client funding requests on a monthly basis
  • Manage life of project through task lists, monthly project management reporting, and scheduling software
  • Manage post-construction maintenance of high end properties on an ongoing basis
  • Work as a team with purchasing manager and design team to assure timely specification and delivery of materials and construction details on an as-needed basis by project
  • Monitor/QC job cleanliness and security, particularly as projects near completion
  • Support Senior Project Manager with daily tasks as requested

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND SOFTWARE

  • Thorough knowledge of finish schedules, drawing sets, and architectural details
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong MS Office Suite program skills (Excellent Excel Skills a must!)
  • Procore experience is strongly recommended
  • Experience in residential is a must.
  • Experience in high-end residential is a plus
  • Ability to be a productive team member and collaborate while working on complex projects against rigid timelines
  • Ability to efficiently interface with project team and clients
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to be flexible and embrace shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Should be aware of a variety of the field's concepts, best practices, and procedures
  • Must be US citizen, Permanent Resident or hold valid work visa

EDUCATION/experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience
