Description
Position Summary:
Senior level leader responsible for providing oversight for facility operations and services, strategic planning, and day-to-day administration of policies, procedures and programs for an assigned client.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accountable for management of all aspects of an assigned client account at multiple locations, including: Energy & Sustainability, Utility Management, Strategic Programs, Asset Management, Tenant Services, Building Management Systems & Fire/Life Safety.
- Manage all aspects of contracts with the client.
- Develop and manage personnel in the delivery of services within the established service level agreements.
- Responsible for implementing and managing client driven initiatives, including utility budgeting & management.
- Serve as the Client’s main point of contact for reporting requirements, outstanding issues, and any matters requiring escalation.
- Ensure continuous improvement in the use of technology to manage buildings, systems and infrastructure.
- Oversee all facilities related equipment and systems including commissioning, preventative maintenance and end of life replacement.
- Collaborate with local and cross-regional teams including: Finance, Engineering, Procurement and IT to assure that work flows optimally through the organization and meets client needs and contractual requirements.
- Provide oversight of contracts for outsourced services and oversees procured resources activities and contract compliance.
- Demonstrate broad financial knowledge to oversee the development and administration of budgets relating to departmental services, including utilities. Oversees financial variance reporting to ensure accuracy and financial acumen.
- Maintain corporate level reporting to meet contractual reporting requirements.
- Manage annual budget development.
- Manage all project processes, including requirement definition, financial and qualitative analysis and project justification and approval.
- Travel required 15-20%
- May perform other duties as required
Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 12 years facilities management experience in a critical environment or data center.
- Previous management or supervisory experience including management of subordinate managers, direct personnel and subcontractors.
- Strong leadership qualities, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional writing, organization, analytical and planning skills.
- Thorough familiarity with real estate and facilities financial processes, reporting and business controls.
- Must have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at one time, handle pressure situations and meet difficult deadlines.
- PC proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel.
