JOB SUMMARY
Plan and implement internal team's daily responsibilities and strategic activities for client transactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist senior leaders in department management efforts
Communicate with both internal staff and external clients
Lead & facilitate initiatives to support team, including:
Communication of best practices, policies and procedures
Ensures knowledge is disseminated /shared internally.
Conduct ongoing evaluation of best practices and standards:
Attend and observe all office and residential team meetings
Attend and observe all office and residential team meetings
Identify and implement improvement opportunities
Work with other support and business teams to discover and incorporate best practices
Analyze how to drive the business forward more effectively
Play active role in developing departmental priorities and ensuring deadlines are met
Manage HR for team:
Provide formal supervision to individuals within an operational area, including training and monitoring of performance issues

Make recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination
Plan /monitor appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime
Prepare and deliver performance appraisal for staff
Mentor and coach team members to further develop competencies
Lead by example; exhibiting behavior consistent with the team and company values
Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum of 5 years related experience
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Knowledge of real estate capital markets industry

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Flexibility to adjust style and methods to best suit each individual's needs and maximize their performance
Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to achieve desired results
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles
Ability to forecast and prepare detailed budgets
Ability to comprehend and distill complex business documents
Ability to calculate complex figures
Demonstrated experience in problem solving and decision making
Computer literacy; especially Word and Excel
Time management skills; ability to work under tight deadlines
