We are seeking a Development Execution Associate who will be involved in all aspects of the development of new multi-family rental projects. 

Location: Denver, CO

What you’ll do

  • Responsible for managing phases of multiple development projects which includes, but is not limited to:
    • Coordination with multiple internal and external groups to ensure the design and delivery of successful projects
    • Create and maintain development schedule for deliverables required by construction and design team
    • Internal team coordination - Operations, Marketing, Construction, Asset Management, IT, Accounting
    • Manage project proformas - budgets, schedule, timing, market assumptions, underwriting assumptions
    • Update monthly development reports for distribution
    • Run and oversee minutes for Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings, prior to construction start
    • Participate in external consultant identification and selection
    • Participate in weekly OAC meetings, after construction start
    • Coordinate branding and marketing efforts
    • Attends work as scheduled to support the ongoing success of the company
    • Permit coordination
    • Project cost management - Soft Cost
    • Other duties, responsibilities and special projects as assigned

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Graduate degree in Architecture, Finance or Real Estate highly preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the multi-family development
  • Strong analytical skills and a drive for measurable results
  • Dependable judgment and impeccable integrity
  • Well-rounded functional background including finance, acquisitions, development, marketing, construction and management
  • Proven negotiating and influencing skills
  • Experience in and in-depth knowledge of targeted local markets for position
  • Strong knowledge of computers, Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as the internet
