In this multi-dimensional position, you will report directly to the Vice President, Marketing and Sales and will lead a wide range of real estate project marketing initiatives across multiple projects. The responsibilities of the role, and the skills and experience necessary are described below.

Responsibilities

This Phoenix-based position is integral to initiating, establishing, and overseeing the marketing of multiple real estate projects and to driving lead generation that supports the sales and development for new destinations and projects.

In this position, you will lead the project positioning and collaborate on its strategy, initiate all marketing, communications and public relations efforts, direct event development and execution, lead the design and delivery of all sales presentation centers, and you will be responsible for driving results that create sales. You will develop and deliver key marketing assets in collaboration with the sales and development teams. These assets may include print collateral, website, digital, advertising, social media, and onsite assets including community signage, a physical sales office, and client entertainment spaces.

  • Collaborate on overall vision, positioning and design for new real estate projects.
  • Develop creative direction for new real estate projects.
  • Create, write and package the marketing and public relations strategy and budget.
  • Hire and manage creative consultant team to deliver any and all marketing assets required for a project.
  • Initiate, deliver, monitor and maintain the highest-level quality of marketing initiatives and materials on time and on budget.
  • Develop, manage and track all marketing budgets including monthly supplier invoice coding and processing.
  • Collaborate with the development and sales teams on the overall design, sales pathing and build-out of Sales Presentation Centers.
  • Develop lead-generation programs.
  • Develop and generate marketing reporting that measures results.
  • Proactively manage creative agencies and other consultants in meeting all marketing milestone dates.
  • Hire and train new project marketing team members.
  • Oversee project-marketing teams to monitor and redirect as required.

Skill Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of real estate marketing, particularly destination / master planned community-based.
  • Relevant appreciation for the relationship between marketing and sales, and specifically how marketing drives real estate sales.
  • Creative and strategic thinker and problem solver.
  • An eye for design and proven excellence in creative design judgement, particularly as it relates to brand development and brand integrity.
  • Ability to, and experience with managing creative consultants, and agency relationships.
  • Deadline driven.
  • Exceptional budget creation and budget tracking skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills including written, both creative and business-oriented, as well as editing.
  • Exceptional oral communication and presentation abilities.
  • Expertise across all aspects of digital marketing, including social media.
  • Ability and capacity to be both a hands-on contributor and a manager/leader when required.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and multi-tasking environment.
  • Proven and adept team player.
  • Solid work ethic with a proven ability to produce quality materials while meeting deadlines.
  • Able to travel, and available evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • Familiarity with and passion for a culture of health, well-being and outdoor adventure.
  • Role is based in Phoenix, Arizona.

Required Experience

  • Degree in marketing, real estate and/or business administration.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in real estate marketing.
  • Strong understanding of traditional marketing approaches from strategy development through to execution and measurement.
  • Current and relevant experience with all aspects of digital marketing.
  • Luxury real estate marketing background with a proven record of success is an asset.
  • Experience in developing and articulating strategies that lead to executable plans.
  • Experience with establishing, managing, reporting and forecasting budgets.
  • Experience with managing creative consultants, and marketing-related suppliers.
  • Experience with envisioning, creating, and executing promotional events and community fostering experiences.
  • Experience in leading and training people.
