Description
X Social Communities Enterprises (X) is looking for a Director of Strategic Partnerships (DSP) to source,
create, and manage relationships between 3rd party operators and X’s national portfolio. As the X family
of brands works to establish itself as the first consumer facing brand in the residential retail space, the
DSP is responsible for creating best in class vertical living environments for our members and the
surrounding community. Sourcing, securing, and working with partners that align to and elevate our
mission is absolutely critical, and we’re looking for someone who is equal parts business savvy, brand
focused, and analytical to play this pivotal role in improving member experience and acquiring new
members.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute 360-degree solution and vision for the co-working spaces located in all X properties to improve product success, from selecting partners (Local? National? Combination?) to determining advantageous relationship (lease agreement, management agreement, joint venture etc.) structures
- Design and execute retail, food and beverage, and fitness partnership strategy for amenity spaces with the goal of enhancing residential and membership success, considering partnership and relationship structure questions
- Fulfillment of the hotelification objectives for each property in each marketplace, including ability for members to enjoy assets in multiple cities seamlessly
- Select and negotiate, with an eye towards brand and operational excellence, core property functions (package lockers, cleaning services, dog walking, etc.)
Requirements
- Previous real estate contract negotiation experience, either on owner or partner side, strongly preferred
- Previous experience building a world-class consumer facing brand
- Exceptional analytical skills
