Position: Asset Management Associate – Affordable Housing

Location: New York, NY

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Primary liaison between ownership and property management on property business plans.
  • Visit stabilized properties annually and transitional properties monthly. Boots on the ground mentality.
  • In the event of crisis management, determines how to proceed in partnership with the owner and property manager in real time.
  • Reports to Managing Partner on special projects to increase ROI.
  • Work closely with accounting team to develop budgets and determine the sources of material variance in operating performance.  
  • Coordination of annual reporting.
  • Work closely with construction managers to determine project schedule, scope and capital needs
  • Track and manage portfolio metrics

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in related filed
  • Experience with affordable housing asset management or property management.
  • Demonstrated competency in financial statement analysis.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Manages multiple priorities while demonstrating the initiative to produce results and resolve problems.
  • Team-oriented with strong integrity and professionalism.
  • Bright and flexible with strong organizational skills
