Description: Well established NYC based real estate owner and developer has an immediate need for a Procurement Coordinator. This role will provide administrative and project management support to the Construction and Development teams and will be based in our New York City Office.
Responsibilities:
- Identify overseas furniture/case goods procurement manufacturers for upcoming pipeline of development projects
- Point of contact with Overseas Procurement office/manufacturers
- Oversee all production of all case goods/ upholstery / other overseas purchases
- Coordinate all Project Drawings/ ID Drawings for bids and leveling sheets
- Prepare contracts, purchase orders, exhibits, templates, correspondence, reports, and other documentation as needed
- Point of contact regarding shipping/custom/delivery of such goods
- Report directly with Company Executive
- Assist Project Management and Development departments in tracking progress on site as it related to the procured items
- As needed trips overseas required for this position
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required
- 2 to 5 years work experience in a construction/design/development
- Construction experience and familiarity with construction drawings is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Intuitive and strong independent working skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Familiar with standard programs, including Microsoft Excel and Word and Adobe Acrobat
