Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and lead construction coordination for multiple projects in various stages of the construction cycle
- Supervise the daily, weekly and monthly construction activities of the company to ensure that projects are constructed on time, budget and with proper means / methods
- Work properly maintain project budgets, change orders and cost overruns
- Provide daily or weekly project updates as needed to company principles
- Identify qualified subcontractors and in conjunction and oversee the bidding process
- Establish preliminary budgets in close coordination with subcontractors and update as needed as project plans develop
- Perform inspections for quality control compliance and provide report for corrective action.
- Provide project job reports with pertinent activities and progress to be turned in weekly
Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in development, construction or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal oversight as well as in a cohesive team environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, along with an ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
- General understanding of permitting inspection process as it relates to schedule sequencing
- Organizational skills in a very fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- General computer skills with experience using Microsoft Outlook
- Must be resourceful, flexible, and react and respond quickly
