One of the first casualties of the Global Financial Crisis was the decimation of HR departments. SelectLeaders would get calls from everyone from CFO’s to assistant office workers asking help posting a job on our Network. The calls always started the same way, “I have never done this before”, or, “Our jobs have done well on SelectLeaders in the past, but this one is getting no resumes.” It usually was an issue with the writing of the job specification, and we were happy to help. We are now happy to report that the data for the upcoming Cornell/SelectLeaders Job Barometer shows an uptick in HR hiring for the Real Estate industry. As hiring increases, the competition for talent heats up, so companies are ramping up their in-house HR departments with experienced knowledgeable talent, and we are all the happier for it.
