The Ohio State Center for Real Estate at the Fisher College of Business is dedicated to fostering excellence in real estate education, applied and academic research, and outreach through community and university partnerships. The Center’s main goal is to serve as a link between our students, faculty, alumni, and the various parts of the real estate industry, creating a vibrant community touching all aspects of real estate.

Program Highlights

Real estate is not just about the financial product, it is about the physical environment and its effect on the shape of communities we live in, it is about policies and their impact on economic development of a region, it is about design – in other words, it is a rich and exciting eco-system offering students many opportunities. To reflect the true nature of real estate, the real estate education students receive emphasizes interdisciplinary blend of theory and practice, providing students not only with the fundamental knowledge of the financial aspects of real estate, but also ability to solve complex problems and communicate their ideas effectively.

Students can take courses in business, urban planning, law, architecture, construction management, engineering, environmental resources, and geography. All are taught by world-class faculty in their own area of expertise.
