SelectLeaders is acknowledged for more qualified, longer-term hires, so despite the fact this New Year brought some of the best jobs I personally have seen on our Real Estate Job Network, remember why our hires move to the top. They stay put as long as they can gain new or challenging experience where they are. The Global Financial Crisis proved the advantage of multi-sector experience. The difference between those that survived often was even minimal experience in a different real estate job field that qualified them to take on additional responsibility. Employees should make their company aware that are up for new challenges in the New Year. Employee Retention often comes down to ensuring that along with the inevitable daily responsibilities, employees are offered new challenges. And if their efforts are recognized by growing with the company’s success, no matter how tempting our jobs are, it is tough to leave a job that is fulfilling.
