JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for analyzing complex information to prepare various reports and loan submission packages. Proficient on understanding and using fundamental and advanced concepts, practices and procedures associated with commercial real estate finance, including commercial appraising, market analysis, and investment analysis.

Supervises production staff. Reviews and approves the work of production staff.

RESTRICTED USE: Capital Markets Production Team

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manages a team of production support staff to ensure their work is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Assigns work among production team to balance pipeline by volume, complexity and timing.
• Educates analysts through various assignments, while also being available for continuous training and/or mentoring of analysts.
• Gathers complex data on local, regional, and national commercial real estate markets by researching a variety of sources including, but not limited to industry, regulatory and economic information, financial periodicals and newspapers, mortgage and lease documents, demographic date, property information and company records.
• Organizes, evaluates, interprets and summarizes complex data. Prepares a variety of analyses, statements and reports for management review; arranges for preparation of graphics or illustrations to include with research findings.
• Prepares and analyzes complex commercial real estate industry conditions forecasts and trends. Review of overall general business trends. Also, may conduct ad hoc analysis and/or studies for producer(s) and/or management, upon request.
• Prepare complex reports/analysis for review by Producers. Interfaces with clients, lenders (if applicable) and government agencies (if applicable) to complete tasks.
• Assists in business development opportunities, helping Producers with marketing efforts on new or existing clients.
• Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 10+ years of experience in Real Estate or Finance.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

Real Estate Sales License preferred but not required.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
• Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite products including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. Knowledge of ARGUS preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of commercial real estate Capital Markets process.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.

*Colorado Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Lead DSF Analyst position is $100,00 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $110,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.

NOTE: An additional requirement for this role is the ability to comply with COVID-19 health and safety protocols, including COVID-19 vaccination proof and/or rigorous testing.
