White Point is a private real estate investment firm specializing in the acquisition and development of office, retail, mixed-use and multifamily properties throughout the southeastern U.S. We target investments in the leading 18-hour cities of this region, as these markets exhibit some of the country’s most compelling population and economic growth dynamics. Utilizing local market knowledge, an extensive network and entrepreneurial approach, we are able to pinpoint unique investment opportunities. Since 2014, our team has developed and invested in over $900 million of real estate assets.

 

We are currently seeking an analyst to join our team. The analyst will work closely with White Point’s senior team on projects currently under development, as well as new acquisition and development opportunities. The position is ideal for the entrepreneurial real estate professional looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on investment experience with significant growth potential. Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial models, projections and analyses on prospective investment opportunities
  • Produce marketing materials and presentations for lenders and investors
  • Research target markets to understand the local economy, demographic trends and development pipeline
  • Assist with all aspects of the underwriting and due diligence process
  • Review real estate documents and prepare abstracts
  • Assist in reviewing construction plans, submittals, change orders and invoices
  • Create, manage and update asset management reports, project budgets, schedules and construction draws
  • Maintain and update a market comparable database, including sales and rent comps

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required, preferably with a concentration in finance, real estate, economics, business, engineering, construction management, architecture or accounting
  • 0-3 years experience in real estate, investment banking, valuation or private equity (will selectively consider recent graduates with significant internship experience)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point and Word)
  • Strong work ethic, ability to multi-task, operate with limited direction, superior attention to detail and excellent writing & analytical skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Demonstrated interest in real estate, either through past work experience or course work
