Clemson University s Department of City Planning and Real Estate Development (CPRED) seeks a Program Director for the Master of Real Estate Development Program (MRED), located in Downtown Greenville, SC. Founded in 2004, MRED is an applied, full-time, 56-credit hour program that can be completed in an 18-month course of study for Entry Level Early Career Students, or in 12-months for Experienced Development Professionals. The program typically accepts 18 - 25 students per year and has matriculated 250 students from 30 states, and six countries since its inception. Our 210 proud alumni are employed with premier real estate firms in 40 metropolitan areas in 27 States and Asia.About the University and Community

The MRED Program is seeking candidates for a Program Director with the rank to be determined in either a tenured or non-tenured position. The position will begin in the 2019-2020 academic year. A Ph.D. is preferred, but individuals with exemplary professional experience and a professional master s degree in real estate, finance, land development or a related concentration will be equally considered. The successful candidate should ideally possess teaching experience and demonstrate the ability to work well with industry professionals. In addition to assigned administrative responsibilities, the successful candidate is expected to annually teach two classes in her/his field, and assist in other class modules, experiential learning projects and recruitment.Experience
